Right the idea was that as I embarked on a new area of my life, 'my adventures in baking' I would chat, vent, muse, ponder, & add photographic evidence of all of it. Things aren't much different now but its not just about the baking its about life in general. I welcome comments & advise from anyone who takes the time to look in fact do comment lets have a chat!

And my day looks brighter
Having sat at my computer researching Italian breads, looking for a job that fits in with the school run, checking twitter and facebook etc. I sent a little tweet to Paul Hollywood whom I love having watched him on t.v especially this years Great British Bake Off- actually I suppose that is now last years.... what the hell the last one broadcast...2011, and he sweetly tweeted back with the suggestion of a pain de champagne or a ciabatta who am I to argue with that!! So I am currently looking his takes on both of these breads, I will asses on what looks easiest but most impressive and let you know how I get on, coupled together with the fact that I found out there will be a Cake and Bake show later this year in London my mood has lifted and I don't feel quite so agitated now :-)
